This was my first attempt at designing a typeface. Though it was long before my graduation as a typographer, I played with the idea of drawing a letter set with “donuts” and straight lines only. Later this project became one of my entrance exam works for Typography Classes of the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design. Since then I still have not developed it into a functional font, partly because I consider this work more as a practice than a working typeface, and the design—in this state—is rather a sketch that requires a total revision and a large amount of fine-tuning, like all (well designed) typefaces do.
