Architecture ’12
Around September 2011 I started to get curious about photography. While walking around the beautiful Bauhaus buildings in district 13 of Budapest—the one I’m living in—I took casual photos partly to improve my skills in composition techniques, partly for documentation purposes. The (permanently growing) results can be seen in the Photos section of this site, but for the Christmas of 2011 I collected a bunch of them and made a calendar as a present. To emphasize the straight lines and minimalist structures, I reduced the colors to grayscale, and chose an accompanying typeface of the era these block houses were built: the famous Futura of Paul Renner.
